Do it Yourself Brows
Quick Tips
All over the internet are reams and reams of advice on how to shape, pluck, tint and brush your unruly eyebrows. If I was going to summarize just a few tips it would be as follows.
1) More or less try to line up the beginning of your brow with the inner corner of the eye.
2) More or less have the highest part of the brow (the arch) arrive at the outer 3rd of the eye.
3) Don’t bring the eyebrow too far down at the end, unless you have a wide face and you want to create narrowness.
Why do we say more or less? Because with such a variety of face shapes, these tips can change according to the effect or illusion you are trying to create. See the next section for further tips.
Here are a few tricks you can employ to create certain effects.
1) If you have a narrower face, you can tint the ends a little darker to give you a wider look.
2) If your eyes are too close together, you can cheat a little and break the above rule number 1 and not align the beginning of the brow with the beginning of the eye, but rather start a little further out to create the illusion of more separation.
3) To create more width across the face, don’t let the ends of the eyebrows come down, keep them up and out at the ends.
